On Wednesday, June 24, 2015, (l-r) American Legion National Vice Commander Doug Haggan along with Department of Vermont Commanders Rick Gray and Frank Killay presented four checks for $250 each for four Vermont students participating in the upcoming Future Leader Camp, which begins on Sunday, June 28. Receiving the checks on behalf of Norwich University are Vice President of Enrollment Management Greg Matthews (l) and Associate Director of Recruiting and Leadership Programs Frank Hotaling (r).

The Future Leader Camp (FLC) is a two-week summer camp that develops leadership potential in high school students. FLC is a challenging, meaningful adventure that builds understanding of small-group leadership techniques, leadership ethics, teamwork, problem solving and communication.

Dept. of Vermont Cmdr. Gray said the American Legion wanted to contribute to supporting Vermont students interested in participating in this unique leadership opportunity. Thank you, American Legion!
