How it works: Bring in or email your order of 25 copies or more to the Copy Center. Fill out an order form at the front counter (or print a PDF copy here). Please fill out the form completely, including budget numbers and activity codes.
Be specific on the “date wanted” line. Please do not use “ASAP.” It is not considered a deadline and its use may prolong the completion of your order.
Paperclip your order form to the originals (flat, unbound sheet) and leave them in the appropriate basket (“24 Hours” or “48 Hours”).
When you order is complete, we will notify you by email. The total cost for copy center work will be reflected on your yellow receipt and will be charged in Banner Web by the end of the workweek. Please note that there may be additional charges for bindery, cutting, collating, travel and staff overtime. You will be advised of extra charges before we begin your project.
We provide same day service for up to 500 – 8.5 x 11 copies when the order is brought to the Copy Center by 9 a.m. Same-day orders will be ready for pickup by 3:30 p.m.
Depending copy center workloads, we can sometimes process, but do not guarantee, rush jobs. Please call to alert us to this need and be sure to alert the Copy Center representative when dropping off your order. We will make every effort to process your order quickly and will try to complete it within a few hours. If you leave rush materials in a basket without speaking to copy center staff, it will be treated as a standard job!
Please keep in mind that unexpected equipment down-times may delay the turnaround time for your order. If equipment is down, and your deadline is firm, we will suggest that we send you project (or parts of it) to one of our premier vendors in order to reach your deadline. There will be additional costs involved with this. We will advise you of additional charges before starting your project.
A locked cabinet is available at the Copy Center to secure exams, quizzes, and other testing materials. Exams are processed first thing each morning and at noon. If you need your exam the same day, please notify a copy center representative.
These types of jobs are generally large quantity or complex orders and will be coordinated with our in-house Creative Services staff.
If you are email or dropping off electronic files for printing, our preferred file format is PDF. This will ensure that any fonts issues will be minimized. Our production computers are MACs and therefore cannot accept certain file formats such as Publisher. If you are putting your files together in Publisher, please export/save as a PDF before sending it to us. If you are in any doubt, please contact the Copy Center for information at (802) 485-2110.
